Privacy Policy

Short version: Tidebet needs only a username and password (or Google sign-in). We never ask for ID documents. We store what the site needs to run your account, your cryptocurrency balances and deposit addresses, your withdrawal requests, your bet history, your profile and your public chat messages. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers and we do not sell your data.

1. Who we are

Tidebet is operated by Tide Bet ("we", "us"), established in [JURISDICTION]. Questions about this policy or your data: support@tidebet.fun.

2. Age requirement

Tidebet is only for people aged 18+ (or the higher minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly allow anyone younger to use the site. If you believe a minor has an account, contact support@tidebet.fun and we will close it.

3. No KYC

We never ask for ID documents, selfies, proof of address, or real names. An account needs only a username and password, or Google sign-in. There is no identity verification step anywhere on the site.

4. What we store on our server

Our server keeps one data file for the platform. For each account it contains:

Account basics: a random account ID, your username (plus a lowercase copy used for lookups), the date the account was created, and whether the account is an administrator.
Password: stored only as a bcrypt hash. We never store or see your password in plain text.
Google sign-in (optional): if you use "Continue with Google", our server checks the sign-in token with Google and then stores your Google account ID and your email address. Your Google display name is used once to suggest a username, and your Google profile picture link may be used as your avatar if you have not set one. Google accounts need a verified email address.
Balances and payments: your BTC, ETH, SOL and LTC balances, the deposit addresses we create for your account, the on-chain deposits credited to you, and your withdrawal requests (amount, coin, destination address and status). Blockchain transactions are public by nature and cannot be deleted by us.
Bet history and stats: every balance entry on your account (bets, wins, deposits, referral bonuses: type, amount, coin, dollar value, game, a short note and the time), the seeds and results of your game rounds, and totals calculated from them (number of bets, amount wagered, wins, losses).
Profile: your bio (up to 280 characters) and your avatar (a preset, or an image link you enter, up to 500 characters).
Referrals: your referral code, which account referred you (if any), how many people you invited, and the amount earned from referrals.
Chat messages: messages you send in the public live chat, with your username, account ID and time. The server keeps only the latest 200 messages across the whole site.
Login sessions: a random session token linked to your account, with its creation and expiry time (30 days). Logging out deletes the session.

What is public

Chat messages are visible to everyone on the site. Your public profile page (/u/your_username) shows your username, join date, admin badge (if any), avatar, bio, total bets, wins and losses, and your recent activity (game names and times only, no amounts). Your balances, email address and bet amounts are not shown on your public profile.

5. What is stored in your browser

The site also saves a few items in your browser. Full details, including exact names, are in our Cookie Policy. In short:

a session cookie that keeps you logged in;
your wallet state (tidebet_wallet_v1): balances, selected coin and recent history, so the site works for guests and loads quickly;
provably fair client seed and nonce counters;
your cookie-banner choice, whether you closed the Telegram banner, and your game-sound setting;
a referral code from an invite link (only until you sign up) and cached page parts (session only).

6. How we use this data

to create and log in to your account and keep you signed in;
to keep your balances, bet history, stats and referral rewards;
to show your profile and your chat messages;
to keep the chat usable (for example, a short delay between messages to prevent spam).

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

7. What we do not collect

No ID documents, selfies, proof of address, real names, dates of birth or phone numbers.
No payment or bank details: there are no deposits or withdrawals on Tidebet.
No advertising, analytics or tracking scripts.
Our application does not save your IP address in its data file.

Like most websites, the server and hosting provider may keep standard technical request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and troubleshooting.

8. Third-party services

Google: when Google sign-in is enabled, pages load Google's sign-in script from accounts.google.com, and if you sign in with Google your sign-in token is checked with Google. Google's own privacy policy applies to what Google processes.
Telegram: we link to our external Telegram channel. Clicking the link opens Telegram in a new tab; we do not embed Telegram on our pages and we do not receive data about you from Telegram. Telegram's own privacy policy applies there.
Avatar images: if a user sets an avatar image link, your browser loads that image from the site it points to when you view their profile.

9. How long we keep data

Account, profile, balances and referral data: until your account is deleted.
Bet and wallet history: until your account is deleted, so balances can always be audited.
Chat: only the latest 200 messages site-wide; older ones are removed automatically.
Sessions: until you log out or 30 days pass.
Browser storage: until you clear it in your browser.

10. Your choices and rights

You can change your username, bio and avatar in Settings. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account deleted, email support@tidebet.fun from the email linked to your account (for Google accounts) or tell us your username. There is no self-service account deletion yet, so we handle this by email. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

11. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. The login cookie is HttpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and SameSite=Lax. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.

12. Changes

If we change what we store or how we use it, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
